Forest View Childers is a community based not-for-profit organisation caring for the aged in Childers Queensland.
Accommodation for Your Needs
You can choose the accommodation or services required for your needs
- Forest View Aged Care Facility - 27 Rooms.
- Forest View Village – 34 Independent Living Units co-located to the Aged Care Facility. The units are a mix of rental and licensed accommodation.
- Forest View Home Care Consumer Directed Care Packages – Providing care into your unit or to your home.
Facilities and Recreational Activities
There is a Hall and BBQ area for recreational activities in the Village complex. Organised activities include bus trips, bingo, indoor bowls, hoy, cards, games, beauty therapy, cent sales and singalongs. Weekly church services are held. We have a willing band of volunteers and community visitors who assist with our entertainment.
Residential Care
If you need to live with the support of well-trained staff, our Aged Care Facility offers single accommodation for residents.
Independent Living
For residents who are healthy and enjoy independent living in a safe and secure environment, Forest View provides one & two bedroom Units.
Home Care Packages
Forest View Childers provides assistance to elder people living in their own homes within the Bundaberg Region.
